In short

We collect only what the game needs to run and to stay fair. We don’t ask for your name, email or phone number, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use outside analytics or trackers. This website itself sets no cookies.

What the game keeps

  • A session cookie that keeps your browser signed in to your account.
  • Your game progress: your angler’s name and look, your catches, items, coins, friends and crew.
  • Your wallet address, if you connect MetaMask. We never see or store your keys or recovery phrase.
  • Your IP address and basic connection logs, used to keep the game secure and to limit abuse, and kept for a short time.
  • Reports you or others make, with the messages they are about, so the game team can review them.
  • Settings such as sound and graphics, saved in your own browser.

The blockchain is public

If you deposit, withdraw, forge, trade or lock on the Polygon network, those transactions and your wallet address are public on the blockchain and can’t be deleted by anyone, including us.

Who sees your data

The game team, to run and support the game. Your angler’s name, look, crew and public stats are visible to other players. The game runs on Google Cloud in Singapore, and reads the blockchain through a node provider. We don’t sell your data.

How long we keep it

Your account and progress are kept while the game runs. Backups are kept for up to 30 days. Logs are kept for a short time.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your account and its progress. Data already on the blockchain can’t be deleted. A dedicated contact address is coming soon; until then, use the in-game report button.
